code.vegaprotocol.io/vega@v0.79.0/CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md (about) 1 2 # Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct 3 4 ## Our Pledge 5 6 In the interest of fostering an open and welcoming environment, we as 7 contributors and maintainers pledge to make participation in our project and 8 our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body 9 size, disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, 10 level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal 11 appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation. 12 13 ## Our Standards 14 15 Examples of behaviour that contributes to creating a positive environment 16 include: 17 18 * Using welcoming and inclusive language 19 * Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences 20 * Gracefully accepting constructive criticism 21 * Focusing on what is best for the community 22 * Showing empathy towards other community members 23 24 Examples of unacceptable behaviour by participants include: 25 26 * The use of sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual attention or 27 advances 28 * Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks 29 * Public or private harassment 30 * Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or electronic 31 address, without explicit permission 32 * Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a 33 professional setting 34 35 ## Vega Community Guidelines 36 37 Examples of unacceptable behaviour by participants that breach both project and 38 regulatory guidelines around cryptographic tokens: 39 40 * Token sales or price discussion 41 * 'Shilling' or advertising on behalf of other projects 42 * Discriminatory content or inflammatory remarks 43 * Impersonation or spreading inaccurate information 44 * Attempts to phish or scam other members of the community 45 46 ## Our Responsibilities 47 48 Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying the standards of acceptable 49 behaviour and are expected to take appropriate and fair corrective action in 50 response to any instances of unacceptable behaviour. 51 52 Project maintainers have the right to remove, edit, or 53 reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions 54 that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct, or to ban temporarily or 55 permanently any contributor for other behaviours that they deem inappropriate, 56 threatening, offensive, or harmful. 57 58 ## Scope 59 60 This Code of Conduct applies within all project spaces, and it also applies when 61 an individual is representing the project or its community in public spaces. 62 Examples of representing a project or community include using an official 63 project e-mail address, posting via an official social media account, or acting 64 as an appointed representative at an online or offline event. Representation of 65 a project may be further defined and clarified by project maintainers. 66 67 ## Enforcement 68 69 Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behaviour may be 70 reported by contacting the project team at hi@vega.xyz. All 71 complaints will be reviewed and investigated and will result in a response that 72 is deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances.
