You may use pod IDs or names as input. 11 12 ## OPTIONS 13 14 #### **--all**, **-a** 15 16 Stops all pods 17 18 #### **--ignore**, **-i** 19 20 Ignore errors when specified pods are not in the container store. A user might 21 have decided to manually remove a pod which would lead to a failure during the 22 ExecStop directive of a systemd service referencing that pod. 23 24 #### **--latest**, **-l** 25 26 Instead of providing the pod name or ID, stop the last created pod. 27 28 The latest option is not supported on the remote client. 29 30 #### **--time**, **-t**=*time* 31 32 Timeout to wait before forcibly stopping the containers in the pod. 33 34 #### **--pod-id-file** 35 36 Read pod ID from the specified file and stop the pod. Can be specified multiple times. 37 38 ## EXAMPLE 39 40 Stop a pod called *mywebserverpod* 41 ``` 42 $ podman pod stop mywebserverpod 43 cc8f0bea67b1a1a11aec1ecd38102a1be4b145577f21fc843c7c83b77fc28907 44 ``` 45 46 Stop two pods by their short IDs. 47 ``` 48 $ podman pod stop 490eb 3557fb 49 490eb241aaf704d4dd2629904410fe4aa31965d9310a735f8755267f4ded1de5 50 3557fbea6ad61569de0506fe037479bd9896603c31d3069a6677f23833916fab 51 ``` 52 53 Stop the most recent pod 54 ``` 55 $ podman pod stop --latest 56 3557fbea6ad61569de0506fe037479bd9896603c31d3069a6677f23833916fab 57 ``` 58 59 Stop all pods 60 ``` 61 $ podman pod stop --all 62 19456b4cd557eaf9629825113a552681a6013f8c8cad258e36ab825ef536e818 63 3557fbea6ad61569de0506fe037479bd9896603c31d3069a6677f23833916fab 64 490eb241aaf704d4dd2629904410fe4aa31965d9310a735f8755267f4ded1de5 65 70c358daecf71ef9be8f62404f926080ca0133277ef7ce4f6aa2d5af6bb2d3e9 66 cc8f0bea67b1a1a11aec1ecd38102a1be4b145577f21fc843c7c83b77fc28907 67 ``` 68 69 Stop two pods via --pod-id-file 70 ``` 71 $ podman pod stop --pod-id-file file1 --pod-id-file file2 72 19456b4cd557eaf9629825113a552681a6013f8c8cad258e36ab825ef536e818 73 cc8f0bea67b1a1a11aec1ecd38102a1be4b145577f21fc843c7c83b77fc28907 74 ``` 75 76 Stop all pods with a timeout of 1 second. 77 ``` 78 $ podman pod stop -a -t 1 79 3557fbea6ad61569de0506fe037479bd9896603c31d3069a6677f23833916fab 80 490eb241aaf704d4dd2629904410fe4aa31965d9310a735f8755267f4ded1de5 81 70c358daecf71ef9be8f62404f926080ca0133277ef7ce4f6aa2d5af6bb2d3e9 82 ``` 83 84 ## SEE ALSO 85 podman-pod(1), podman-pod-start(1), podman-stop(1) 86 87 ## HISTORY 88 July 2018, Originally compiled by Peter Hunt <pehunt@redhat.com>
