What is actually deleted 12 depends on the virtual machine type. For all virtual machines, the generated 13 podman system connections are deleted. The ignition files 14 generated for that VM are also removed as is its image file on the filesystem. 15 16 Users get a display of what is deleted and are required to confirm unless the option `--force` 17 is used. 18 19 The default machine name is `podman-machine-default`. If a machine name is not specified as an argument, 20 then `podman-machine-default` will be removed. 21 22 Rootless only. 23 24 ## OPTIONS 25 26 #### **--force**, **-f** 27 28 Stop and delete without confirmation. 29 30 #### **--help** 31 32 Print usage statement. 33 34 #### **--save-ignition** 35 36 Do not delete the generated ignition file. 37 38 #### **--save-image** 39 40 Do not delete the VM image. 41 42 ## EXAMPLES 43 44 Remove the specified Podman machine. 45 ``` 46 $ podman machine rm test1 47 48 The following files will be deleted: 49 50 /home/user/.config/containers/podman/machine/qemu/test1.ign 51 /home/user/.local/share/containers/podman/machine/qemu/test1_fedora-coreos-33.20210315.1.0-qemu.x86_64.qcow2 52 /home/user/.config/containers/podman/machine/qemu/test1.json 53 54 Are you sure you want to continue?
